Set to open in early 2012, Mama Baba will have a funky modern feel, with a whole lot of soul. Based on an Italian Greco food concept where pasta dishes are the hero, Mama Baba is sure to shake up the dining scene in South Yarra.

The focus will be creating dishes that make you think fondly of your grandmother, but  with the newness of today in terms of ingredients, technique and flavours. Simple and uncomplicated, with incredible flavour.

The dining experience is different to anything the group has delivered before. Guests will lose themselves in the rhythmic melody created by a blending of old and new tracks by the house DJ. And with an extensive cocktail list, Mama Baba sets itself to be the ideal location to escape from the hustle and bustle of Chapel Street.
